Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 lb asparagus, trimmed
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to make the garlic butter mixture.
Place the cubed steak on one half of the prepared sheet pan. Drizzle with half of the garlic butter mixture and toss to coat.
Place the trimmed asparagus on the other half of the sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and the remaining garlic butter mixture. Toss the asparagus lightly to coat.
Spread the steak and asparagus into a single layer on the pan, ensuring they do not overlap significantly.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, depending on your desired steak doneness (10 minutes for medium-rare, 14 minutes for medium). The asparagus should be tender-crisp.
Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Let the steak rest on the pan for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, use sirloin or tenderloin steak cut into uniform pieces so they cook evenly.
If you prefer a more intense garlic flavor, add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the butter mixture.
You can substitute broccoli florets or green beans for the asparagus. Adjust cooking time if using denser vegetables.
