Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups mini pretzels
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. This usually takes 60 to 90 seconds total.
Fold the mini pretzels into the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture until they are evenly coated.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is completely firm.
Break the hardened bark into irregular pieces before serving or storing.
Notes
For a different flavor, substitute semi-sweet chocolate with white chocolate or milk chocolate chips.
If you prefer a richer peanut flavor, use natural peanut butter, but you may need to stir longer to incorporate it smoothly.
You can sprinkle flaky sea salt on top immediately after spreading for extra visual appeal and saltiness.
