Make this simple and elegant Strawberry Champagne Punch for your next party, brunch, or holiday gathering. It is a crowd-pleasing, bubbly drink that looks beautiful and tastes refreshing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 1 cup chilled white grape juice or pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange slices
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime slices
  • Optional addition: 1 cup vodka for a stronger punch

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry puree by blending fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless texture.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, white grape juice (or pineapple juice), orange liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. If you are adding vodka, mix it in now. Stir the base mixture well.
  3. Chill the punch base in the refrigerator for at least one hour to ensure it is very cold before serving. This step helps keep the punch fizzy.
  4. Just before serving, gently add the chilled Champagne or sparkling wine to the punch bowl. Stir slowly one time to combine without losing too much carbonation.
  5. Add the frozen strawberries, orange slices, and lime slices to the punch bowl for chilling and garnish.
  6. Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice, making sure each serving gets some of the fruit garnish.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic option, substitute the Champagne with chilled sparkling white grape juice or lemon-lime soda.
  • You can make the fruit base (everything except the Champagne) up to 24 hours ahead of time. Keep it covered in the refrigerator.
  • To keep the punch cold without diluting the flavor, use a large ice ring made from water or juice instead of loose ice cubes in the bowl.
  • This recipe is easily scaled up to serve a very large crowd.
