Make this simple, cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip for your next gathering or weeknight meal. It uses shredded chicken and hot sauce for a classic spicy flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce (or similar cayenne pepper sauce)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • For serving: tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken until it is fully coated with the sauce mixture.
  4. Transfer the chicken mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top evenly with the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • For a low carb option, serve this dip only with celery sticks or bell pepper strips.
  • You can use rotisserie chicken to save time on cooking and shredding.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, reduce the amount of ranch and blue cheese dressing slightly.
