Make a simple, juicy, and flavorful baked ranch chicken for a quick weeknight dinner using only five pantry staples.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise and the dry ranch seasoning mix until fully combined. This creates your coating.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, covering the surface completely.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the ranch coating on each piece of chicken.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil lightly over the tops of the coated chicken.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the topping is lightly golden brown.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can use chicken thighs instead of breasts; adjust the baking time as needed.
  • If you prefer a crispier topping, place the dish under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store cooled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
