Ingredients
Scale
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
8 wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl. Toss gently to coat all the shrimp evenly in the garlic butter mixture.
Thread 4 to 5 shrimp onto each skewer.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Place the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping the skewers halfway through the cooking time, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Remove the skewers from the air fryer. Brush with any remaining garlic butter from the bowl, if desired, and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure the shrimp cook evenly and brown slightly.
If your shrimp are very large, you may need to add 1 to 2 minutes to the cooking time.
